You may or may not have heard of our pop video game Sayonara Wild Hearts. If not, I can tell you it is a pop music drama about a heartbroken woman who discovers a butterfly in her dreams, leading her into the darkness of assimilation when she transforms into a hidden biker called The Fool.
Sayonara Wild Hearts is inspired by arcade games (Come out, Space Station) we loved our youth and the pop music (Sia, Chvrches) that surrounds us daily. It's a game of making peace with yourself and running away from pop culture (Café Racer motorcycles, "Sailor Moon," "Akira"). And about riding motorcycles, canoeing, dancing, shooting lasers, swords carrying. Etcetera.
This release is special, as it marks the end of a nearly five-year journey – this is the last release of Sayonara Wild Hearts which means that a long (and sometimes difficult) journey comes at the end of our little group.
