Capcom shows you Ed in a new gameplay trailer for Street Fighter 6.
On February 27th, “Ed” is not a talking horse, but a new fighter for Street Fighter 6.
Year 1 Character Pass, Ultimate Pass, Deluxe Edition, or Ultimate Edition owners will automatically gain access to Ed when he is unlocked.
You can see the warhorse here:
Ed’s Knockouts offer, among other things:
Psycho Flicker: A quick, ranged flicker jab that can be cast in one of three directions, catching the opponent defenseless and is fundamental to Ed’s ability to gain control of areas. When the button is pressed, Ed uses the Psycho Snatcher from Street Fighter V and pulls opponents towards him with psychological power
Psycho Blitz: Unleashes a series of punches coated in psychic power
Psycho Storm: Ed’s Level 1 Super Art allows him to blast opponents with a series of high-speed flicker jabs
Psycho Cannon: Ed’s Level 2 Super Art, originally from Street Fighter V, creates a multi-hit psychic force bullet that moves forward
Psycho Chamber: Ed’s Level 3 Super Art turns opponents into his own personal punching bag by tying their hands and feet together – hit it, in the name of the Neo Shadaloo
In addition to the release of Ed, a new stage called Ruined Lab will be available, depicting the aftermath of the fall of the Shadaloo and showing the lab in shambles.
Year 1 Ultimate Pass and Ultimate Edition owners will automatically receive the stage when Ed is released. Additionally, various quality-of-life updates are being introduced, including the ability to toggle button displays on PC and an extra lighting feature being added to Photo Mode.
In a few months in spring it will be Akuma released – more to come later this year.
