Player choice takes on a whole new meaning in Elex II as Jax meets a Magalan now inhabited by five different factions locked in an ongoing war: the Berserkers, Morkons, Albs, Clerics and Outlaws all need to be made allies, but each could not be more different. Overly lawful and highly technical, Clerics wield some of the most feared weapons on the planet. The splinter cell of clerics known as the Albs developed magical powers by consuming vast amounts of Elex. Berserker magic is considered perhaps the strongest, relying solely on it in battle. The Morkons and Outlaws each bring their own malice to the planet Magalan, although the Morkons are far more calculated in their actions.
These challenging relationships must be navigated, in addition to battling voracious wildlife and otherworldly creatures like rock dragons, nightshades, and ice trolls. A true action role-playing game, Elex II also requires exploration, skill development, acquisition of equipment and resources, and successful interactions with vendors and teachers.
In the role of Jax, players also have the opportunity to create their own faction, further expanding the story of Elex II. All this to save Magalan from the mysterious creatures of the sky that threaten the planet with complete destruction.
