The antitrust authority of the European Union wants to decide on the Microsoft deal to take over ZeniMax by March.
The EU antitrust authority wants to decide by March 5, 2021 whether Microsoft’s 7.5 billion dollar takeover of ZeniMax will be approved.
Microsoft applied for approval from the European Commission on January 29th.
According to Reuters, the EU competition watchdog will decide whether the deal will be approved during a preliminary review or whether concessions need to be made.
An investigation can also be initiated if there are concerns.
