Everything you need to know about the Floppy Knights free DLC

As we prepared to take off Floppy Knights Earlier this year, the team actually had a few ideas left on the cutting room floor. We knew we wanted to explore these ideas with free updates sometime in the distant future, but we weren’t quite sure what to expect.

The good news is… thanks to the amazing support of our community, we’ve been able to make not one, not two, but three major content updates – all scheduled for release later this year!

Here’s what you need to know about the DLC:

We’re releasing three DLC updates over the next few months, each containing a new side quest, story and challenge level, and of course new maps. These updates will be available to everyone Floppy Knights players at no additional cost.

DLC 1: Phoebe’s prototypes

While Phoebe and Carlton try new things Floppy Knights Prototypes in their basement workshop, they get the brilliant idea of ​​running a program that allows them to modify themselves. What could possibly go wrong?

A quick look at the update:

• A brand new Side Quest episode, including four floors and four challenge levels
• 15 new maps to unlock (all compatible with the base game)
• language support for 12 languages!

This new update focuses on Phoebe’s prototypes, playable units that can self-modify each turn. As you progress through the new story levels and challenge levels, you’ll unlock cards that will prove beneficial to your strategy – especially if you use these cards on prototype units.

I would also like to highlight the 11 new languages ​​that we have added to the game. We were overwhelmed by the interest shown Floppy Knights by gamers all over the world, so we decided to take on the tedious but rewarding task of localizing our game for the first time.

Thanks to the added support of the folks at Localize Direct, Floppy Knights is now available in French, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

DLC 1 is available now for free to all players. You unlock the side quest after beating the Cindercliffe finale (Level 2-4). While not mandatory, I recommend playing the side quest levels as soon as they become available. This allows you to unlock all the new maps and bring them into battle as you progress through the rest of the base game. Trust me you will be grateful for the extra support!

DLC 2: Graveyard Layer

Just in time for spooky season, we have another update titled ” night shift. This future update will introduce new mechanics, levels, and maps – all wrapped up in a spooky side quest.

DLC 3: It’s a Secret!

Really, it’s a secret…but Floppy Knights Fans might be able to guess which not-so-friendly copycat inventor is taking the stage in DLC 3. I don’t want to spoil too much of the fun that awaits you, so I’ll leave it at that. Look forward to the third update at the end of 2022.
