Yesterday, more than 18 years of the Xbox 360 store’s legacy came to an end. This store shared two generations, from 2005 to 2024, a sequence of years that was brutal, where millions of players joined and that even if the store dies, its legacy lives on.

- The game servers will remain in effect, it is the publishers who can close the game servers, at the moment all the functions that were working are doing so in the same way.
- You can install and play physical games without any issues, and if you have an update it will install it as usual.
I’ve gone through all the features and everything else works fine, downloads on Xbox 360 have never been very fast but you will be able to download and queue anything you want. Right now, The Xbox 360 retains all the main functions, Only all commercial stores are gone, although you can run apps you downloaded, as well as themes or player images.
