2022 seems determined to compete with 2020 in terms of the number of postponements. And it’s not this latest news that risks a trend reversal. In fact, the information just dropped: Marvel’s Midnight to sunbathe will be postponed to an unknown date. It was 2K that confirmed the information and pushed back the initial release scheduled for October to a window; that of its fiscal year, which runs through March 2023.
We have made the decision to delay the launch window for Marvel’s Midnight Suns to ensure the teams at Firaxis Games and 2K are providing our fans with the best possible experience. The title will be released later this fiscal year on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions will follow at a later date.
This is the second postponement of the game from Firaxis Games since its official announcement in August 2021. Originally scheduled for March 2022, it wasn’t long before the title was pushed back to the second half of the year. The news may come as a surprise given the recent news surrounding the characters released in recent weeks.
