Exographer promises to be a title for retro metroidvania fans eager to experience a hostile planet.
Exographer It’s an adventure created by the studio SciFun Games. This is their first title as a studio and promises a rich story, inspired by space and science fiction. In Exographer we will guide INI in a rescue mission on a lost planet in the galaxy. We must venture among the remains of an ancient, vanished civilization, using technology to progress.
One of the strong points of Exographer is undoubtedly its setting, and the game counts among its developers the scientist and science fiction writer Raphaël Granier de Cassagnac. The gameplay is based on exploration, platforming, puzzle solving and the use of 4 science-based powers, but all of that will have to wait. And the game does not yet have a specific date, we only know that it will be released sometime in 2024.
Exographer It has a pretty cool and detailed pixel art style. Thanks to this we will be able to enjoy beautiful and exotic locations full of puzzles and dangers. In addition, the title has an original soundtrack composed by Yann Van Der Cruyssen, who worked on Stray.
