One of the most searched games in June is Exoprimal, Capcom’s new offering. The title, which will be launched on Xbox Game Pass, will offer frenetic cooperative action in which we will be able to fight against waves of dinosaurs.
Within this cooperative component, cross-play plays a fundamental role, an element that will be a pioneer with Street Fighter 6, being the first Capcom games to support it.
There will be no parties between platforms in Exoprimal
Of course, it won’t come with all the launch features, since as just announced in a tweet, Exoprimal will not be able to create parties between different platforms. That is to say that the creation of groups will only be done between players of the same platform. In other words, Xbox Series X | S will be able to party with other users of these consoles or Xbox One and with players who play on a computer from the Windows Store, but not with users of PlayStation and Steam.
Granted, that’s not a big deal on its own, but it’s a huge oversight when preparing for the game’s launch.
On day one, Exoprimal will support cross-platform matchmaking, but group creation will be specific to each platform ecosystem, as listed below in no particular order:
Group 1: Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows
Group 2: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5
Group 3: Steam— Exoprimal (@exoprimal) July 7, 2023
Exoprimal will be available on July 14, 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PS4 and PS5. Additionally, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
