Experience Yakuza’s Kamurocho through the eyes of a detective in the verdict of the spin-off series

Last but not least, all main entries from Yakuza Yakuza 0 all the way through Yakuza: Like a dragon are now available on Xbox! We are also proud to announce the Yakuza spinoff series evaluation debuts today on Xbox Series X | S. “What the hell is that, there are more yakuza !?” you could say. Allow me to clear this up for you …

evaluation

evaluation is like a parallel to Yakuza with its own identity and rules set in the same world and city as Kamurocho in Japan. Things are still as wild as ever and you will still hear whispers about the Tojo clan. But instead of playing as a beefy ex-yakuza, you’ll follow in the footsteps of an ex-lawyer turned private detective, Takayuki Yagami.

evaluation

Playing as a detective turns the script around. You’ll solve cases, hear testimonies, bring evidence, track down shady characters, and infiltrate hideouts with nothing but a disguise and a lockpicking kit to keep you going. Of course there is still a lot to be done.

evaluation

The fight is as exaggerated and flashy as ever. You can switch between two fighting styles in a snap: Crane, who is best geared towards keeping multiple opponents at bay, and Tiger, who trades speed for strength and combination potential, and is perfect for muscle-bound punks.

evaluation

And as always, you will be amazed by the story from the start. We at RGG Studio have a lot to do. In his legal days, Yagami obtained a high profile acquittal in a murder case just so that the exonerated killer could murder his ex-girlfriend. Ouch! Yagami’s career tanks, and that doesn’t mean any of the guilt he still bears. Needless to say, you are involved in a case that forces Yagami to grapple with his past while his sense of justice moves him forward.

evaluation

All of that, on top of RGG’s classic mainstays, where Yagami has side cases to solve, mini-games and arcades playing, raising friendship knives, finding and strengthening skills, restaurants to settle in, and of course it becomes one A lot of donkeys to kick.

evaluation

If you like yakuza, whether you’ve finished them all or are still working on the catalog, we recommend giving you evaluation a shot. It’s a perfect mix of the familiar and the new, and she really has a lot of heart. You can find more RGG news here on Xbox Wire and @RGGStudio

In this psychological thriller, the balance between justice and compassion fluctuates on the edge. Track down suspects, uncover clues, and bring evidence to justice – but be careful, there are dark characters at every turn. Can you distinguish between friend and foe? Use two unique fighting styles to defeat opponents in electrifying encounters. Packed with Hollywood-worthy battle sequences and cinematic twists and turns, this secret is sure to keep you busy.
