Publisher XSEED Games releases Potionomics: Masterwork Edition for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, available digitally and in a limited physical version.
The Masterwork Edition is an expanded version of Voracious Games’ award-winning blend of potion-making, magic shop simulation, deck-building, and RPG-style romance.
It spices up the mix with new features like voice acting to bring the story to life, “Comfortable” and “Capitalism” difficulty options, and Endless Mode to increase replay value.
The Masterwork Edition also includes an expanded role for wealthy potion dealer and rival boss Finn, who joins the ranks of romantic characters with all-new story scenes, as well as “life coach” services that Sylvia provides for additional potion benefits -Sale, and cards that she can use to expand her haggling skills.
The PC version of Potionomics has received a free update at the same time as the console version, adding many new gameplay features such as voice acting, difficulty modes, endless mode and additional improvements.
The update is free for all current owners and will also be included in the PC version. The Boss Finn Content Pack and everything it brings with it is available separately on PC via Steam as downloadable content for $4.99.
