Bulwark, the spiritual sequel to Falconeer, will also be available on consoles starting next year.
The editor Wired productions and award-winning independent developer Thomas Sala announced that The Falconeer, Bulwark: Chronicles of the Falconeer It will also have console versions. After presenting the project for PC a few months ago, we can now confirm that the game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. When? We no longer know exactly that, we just know that will arrive very soon in 2024
Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles is the spiritual sequel to the award-winning dogfight game The Falconeer. This game was released in 2020 as a launch exclusive on Xbox Series X|S. Set in the same universe but 40 years later, Bulwark ranges from aerial combat to city building. We will have a fantastic open world that will serve as a canvas for us to unleash all our creativity.

Developer Tomas Sala explained the following in a statement released alongside the announcement of the console versions:
Developing for console means you have to create a game that controls like an instrument, without looking at what you’re doing, intuitively from your fingers into the game world, which is what I honestly love doing: putting you, the player , in a world. …with as few layers as possible between you and everything you experience.
Finally, the Bulwark trailer also shows some examples of the impressive colonies that we’ll be able to create, as well as new gameplay features that weren’t seen during the PC development demo released earlier this year. These include new methods of progression and strategic elements which allow players to ally or wage war against the inhabitants of Ursee.
