This may not seem like much to you, but Seamus Blackey is one of the fathers of the first Xbox, you know, this enormous machine ahead of its time It had a hard drive, allowed MP3s to be saved to replace the soundtrack of the original game and had greater power than PCs of the time.
Good old Blackey has already seen many industries, and although he is no longer strictly linked to video games anymore, the truth is that he continues to be a relevant voice in the sector. In fact, not too long ago we got to see a remodeled version of “The Duke” Xbox controller that Seamus had a hand in.
Today’s Xbox “looks” like the Xbox of the 2000s
The fact is that, as I said, his voice continues to be important and relevant in the video game industry, so the last words he dedicated to X are worth collecting. For Blackey, it seems that the console wars have changed nothing for 24 years and that everything continues as before.
This highlights that there are very committed people in the industry and refers to the new Microsoft console, that the only thing we know is that it will be a huge technological leap, and the “biggest yet”. This time, those at Redmond didn’t say it was the “most powerful Xbox” but rather the “most powerful console” in general terms.
It feels like the year 2000 again! Everyone is worried that Microsoft is being “sold out” while, at the same time, a group of enthusiastic curmudgeons are secretly developing something amazing. Go! Go! Go!
It feels like it’s 2000 again! Everyone who worried about MS has “sold out” while at the same time a group of overzealous curmudgeons are developing something amazing in secret. Come on! Come on! Come on! https://t.co/1hT9GIgoop
