With a fully evolving new year, the Xbox team has been tough
work conceptualizing and exploring new features based on critical feedback
of our global community. Today, we are happy to discuss the number with you
exciting new developments and developments starting to emerge this week for all
Xbox One consoles. Here's a rundown of everything you can expect from
Update February 2020 Xbox One:
Home Screen Made Easy
We are officially launching a new, internally oriented home
interface for all Xbox One users as part of the February update! Social Response
since we started testing this home improvement last year has proven to be very helpful
creating a feeling that feels more responsive, keeps your interests going
content at the front and center, and gets you into your gaming experience faster
and so on. For new Home information, we've removed Twists from the top of
favorites dedicated to Xbox Game Pass, Mixer, Xbox Community, and
The Microsoft Store, while giving you the flexibility to add or remove lines
for a personalized experience.
Update My Apps UI
With the February update, we're bringing you more ways to keep My
Games and apps organized! You will now find content segmentation for your convenience
navigate and access your favorite games and apps, as well as labels
of trials and demos and experience of guided preparation to simplify
interacting with your game collection.
Photo support and GIF in chat
We empower you
view animated photos and GIFs in a text chat with your Xbox Live friends
on the console, and the ability to view content in Messaging Applications based on
your message security settings. Now, the photos posted are from the Xbox mobile app IOS either Android or new The Xbox (Beta) App is open
Windows 10 will also be displayed on your console, via
extra power to view full screen content on the Xbox One.
View and install each of the games included with the Xbox Game Pass
Xbox Game Pass Members: we give you more control over what content to include when downloading and playing Xbox Game Pass titles that are part of a larger list, such as Shenmue I & II. With this update, you will now see an overview of “In this bundle” from the installation dialog, as well as an option to choose which one topic to download and run.
Select Popular Notification Location
Now you can decide where you want to go
screen notifications for settings -> Preferences
-> Notifications and clicking on "Default notification position".
This will bring up a menu that allows you to select a location of one of six options
places on the screen, allowing you to get them out of the way if they last
blocking something important in your games or apps. Be aware of your time
the preferred location will be the new default for most notifications, of course
games can change this during gameplay with the best user experience.
Multiple Mixer View improvements
As a result of the community response, we've made many changes to improve your Mixer viewing experience on the Xbox One.
