Jake Solomon, director of XCOM and Marvel’s Midnight Suns, has decided after a very long time leave Firaxis Games to go his own way with a new studio that will not aim to produce a new turn-based strategy game, a genre that has always been very good at it.
Salomon’s departure was announced a few weeks ago and both parties agree with the decision. On the creative side, his idea is to focus on different things that can give him a different projection. Firaxis, however, will also suffer the loss of Steve Martin, study directorwhich can lead to difficult times in the studio.
