EA SPORTS shows their support for the people of Ukraine by eliminating the Russian national team and all clubs in their league in FIFA 22
EA SPORTS decided to show its disagreement with the recent Russian invasion of Ukraine by deleting all kinds of content related to the country presided over by Vladimir Putin. The company’s own official account shared in a statement on social media the removal of all Russian clubs and their national team from FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile and FIFA Online.
This movement was a natural consequence of the measures applied by FIFA itself and UEFA. The two organizations have decided to expel all Russian clubs from their official competitions and exclude the Russian team from their careers to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar which will take place in November 2022.
The study itself also warns in its statement that it will study doing the same with other areas of FIFA 22 and its other games. Ultimately, EA SPORTS appreciates the understanding shown by the community as part of these updates.
