The Halloween season in Final Fantasy XIV Online is opened by the All-Protection Saint.
Halloween is just around the corner and it’s not just the time for creative costumes and pumpkin carvings. The popular All Saints event is once again coming to Eorzea, the fantastic world of Final Fantasy XIV Online!
From now until November 4, 2024, adventurers can join in the festivities in Square Enix’s MMORPG. The towns and adventurer neighborhoods are decorated with pumpkins and bats, and even some scary monsters want to do their part to make the spooky festival even more fun!
In the world of Final Fantasy XIV Online, All Saints is based on the lore of the Twelve, who are worshiped as deities by the Eorzean people. According to the story, once a year the patron saints ascend to heaven for a divine festival. Dark creatures use this time to wreak havoc, but the brave adventurers of Eorzea always protect the land.
While this story once caused fear among the inhabitants of Eorzea, today it is seen as a celebratory occasion. Ceremonial jack-o-lanterns now decorate the streets while costumed children parade around playing pranks. The game combines tradition and fun: in the quests for All Saints, you not only have to protect the people of Eorzea, but also take part in the celebrations.
As part of this year’s quest series “A Battle for Aether and Recognition” there are of course brand new items to get hold of:
- The Albteufel Glamor Set – A devilishly chic outfit for the warriors of light who want to celebrate All Saints Day in style.
- Flying bat pumpkin table decoration – bat and pumpkin have come together to create probably the scariest decoration.
Players must be at least level 15 to take part in the quest. Additionally, some items from previous seasonal events can be purchased from the All Saints Vendor.
