Frontier Developments plc announced Jurassic World Evolution 2: Feathered Species Pack, a new PDLC available Thursday March 30th on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows Store and GeForce Now, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S , PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for a suggested retail price of $7.99.
Jurassic World Evolution 2: Feathered Species Pack invites players to expand their parks with four remarkable prehistoric species that will captivate guests with their magnificent plumage.
Yutyrannus, whose name translates to “feathered tyrant,” lives up to his name and is one of the largest known feathered predators ever discovered. First discovered in northeastern China, this two-legged predator has a light but dense fur that insulates against the cold.
Equally fascinating is Jeholopterus, an agile, flying reptile whose only paleontological specimen is among the best preserved pterosaurs. Jeholopterus is the smallest species to fly in Jurassic World Evolution 2 and is said to have had a coat of short, delicate fibers. Visitors can watch the tiny species feeding from the new insectivore feeder.
Park managers can also say hello to the Deinocheirus, one of the largest ornithomimosaurs ever discovered. With its long arms, duck-like beak and hump on its back, it cuts a terrifying figure. Deinocheirus is the second omnivorous species to appear in Jurassic World Evolution 2 and the first to feed on both plants and fish.
Like the other majestic wonders, the Sinosauropteryx makes a fascinating addition to any park. The fossil of this compact pack hunter, discovered in 1996, was the first evidence of the existence of feathered dinosaurs. Visitors will be amazed by its long, striped tail and thick plumage.
The PDLC comes with an exciting free update that offers players a host of new features and improvements. With the new Log and Dome Galleries, avid builders can offer their guests even more opportunities to observe prehistoric residents, while the introduction of a camera mode allows players to capture their parks in all their glory. Cable car variants and additional square levels allow players to be even more creative.
