Next September, we will definitely see the next generation of AMD desktop processors take off, the so-called “Zen 4” central processors. On the market, it is the well-known and successful AMD Ryzen, which for this occasion, will be from the 7000 series, its nomenclature being that which indicates its power and classification, starting with the most powerful and the next flagship from the company, the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X.
These prices were shared Wccftech from a store called PC-Canada, which are obviously from the North American country, which are quite interesting, but as we can see they start from a somewhat high price compared to previous occasions. The original store offers prices in Canadian dollars, so we offer the exchange in US dollars, which are at the moment with the euro almost at 1:1.
- AMD Ryzen 9 7950X – 16 cores/32 threads – 4.5Ghz to 5.7Ghz – $892
- AMD Ryzen 9 7900X – 12 cores/24 threads – 4.7 Ghz to 5.6 Ghz – $608
- AMD Ryzen 7 7700X – 8 cores/16 threads – 4.5Ghz to 5.4Ghz – $480
- AMD Ryzen 5 7600X – 6 cores/12 hilos – 4.7Ghz to 5.3Ghz – $330
The new AMD Ryzen officially arrive in September
If we take into account that the previous equivalents in their approximate price are more than $799 for the 7950X, we see that the increase is considerable. The same goes for the 7600X, which was priced at just over $229. We’ll have to see if the prices, currently falling for graphics cards, are also reflected in processors, although at the start, with brand new hardware, we’d be very surprised if they change for next month.
For now, AMD itself plans to give an in-depth presentation of it on August 29, where we should finally finish seeing all the details.
