Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster has received a new update that addresses FPS issues.
Adjustments and bug fixes for Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster have been implemented in Update 1.04 and can now be downloaded.
For example, corrections were made to timing and music dropouts, or some non-functioning switches were repaired.
A bug fix has also been made for the target FPS on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles. It now runs at 120fps and was previously limited to 60fps.

- Fixed a bug where the repeater sound would incorrectly pause when it was supposed to repeat
- Fixed collision at high frame rates
- Repair the switches on the Avenger
- Fixed a rare crash when skipping forward through levels
- Slow down homing missiles to match the original game
- Fix some high resolution sprites to use full brightness effects
- Add HD loading screen
- The weapon wheel now always has weapons in the same place
- Add animations to Death Star plans and Nava maps
