A new gameplay trailer has been revealed for the tactical role-playing game Flint: Treasure of Oblivion.
Microids and Savage Level unveil a new video for Flint: Treasure of Oblivion, the turn-based tactical RPG that takes players back to the golden age of piracy.
In Flint: Treasure of Oblivion, players embark on a quest to find a mysterious treasure. While exploring varied environments and engaging in tactical, turn-based combat, every move and success is determined by dice rolls – inspired by role-playing and board games – which adds another level of excitement and strategy to the game.
The heart of the game is turn-based combat. Players must carefully assemble their team, with each member bringing unique skills that affect the overall strategy.
During the tactical phases, players can use skill and item cards to strengthen their team and improve their dice, which determine the outcome of actions, to influence the unpredictability of combat.
About Flint: Treasure of Oblivion
Players join Captain Flint, his second-in-command Billy Bones, and their band of veterans of the seas to search for a legendary treasure that promises freedom and riches. Flint: Treasure of Oblivion offers adventure, but also strategic depth thanks to the turn-based combat mechanics. The game brings a breath of fresh air to the genre, with mechanics from role-playing games and board games.
Players build their crew, with each member having their own skills, allowing players to tailor their tactics to their gameplay style. During the tactical phase, players use skills and attribute cards to improve their crew members and gain an advantage over their opponents.
