One Piece Odyssey was produced with the direct participation of One Piece author Eiichiro Oda. The adventure is complemented by a floating soundtrack composed by Motoi Sakuraba, known for his contributions to the Dark Souls and Tales series.

in the One Piece Odyssey, follow the adventure of Captain Monkey.D.Luffy; a man with ambitions to become the Pirate King! Enriched by a mysterious fruit, Luffy has incredible powers that allow him to stretch, bend, twist, inflate and bounce like rubber. However, Luffy and the Straw Hats find themselves in a bind when a resident of the mysterious island of Waford drains their powers.
An RPG with a One Piece twist
In the style of the original works, the crew are separated and Luffy must scout the island and gather his scattered crew members. While exploring, you can use Luffy’s special abilities like the Gum Gum Slingshot to traverse areas that are otherwise impassable. Once you find the other crew, you can use their abilities as well. For example, the crew’s master swordsman, Zoro, can break down barriers blocking your path.
One Piece Odyssey brings unique elements to the RPG genre with the Dramatic Scene system and Scramble Area Battle. The Dramatic Scene system pits you against unexpected and random scenarios in the battles you will encounter. Usopp, the sniper king, may need rescuing as he begins turn-based combat surrounded and paralyzed by intimidating penguins! The Scramble Area Battle System creates an area made up of multiple points. The player must make the strategic decision of how to use the Straw Hats’ various abilities effectively while considering the issue of movement and range in the scramble area.
