After its presentation at the last E3, Forza Horizon 5 has automatically become one of the most anticipated titles by the entire gaming community for this year 2021. And no wonder, since the new title from Playground Games promises to be the biggest title in the popular franchise.

And when we say Forza Horizon 5 will be the biggest title in the franchise, we mean what, literally, the game will be about. the biggest open world we’ve ever seen in Forza Horizon. Something that is not surprising when you consider that this new opus will have a huge 11 totally different biomes, which will take us from the magnificent beaches of Mexico, to the top of a volcano.

We knew from the start that we wanted this to be the biggest Forza Horizon yet. However, if we wanted to be the biggest, we felt that we also needed to offer the most diversity and contrast.

Mexico is almost like the whole world in one country: snow-capped peaks, rainforests, epic canyons, beautiful beaches, ancient architecture, and modern cities. When you add the incredible culture of Mexico, the music, the art, the history, the people, there is no more exciting place for the Horizon Festival.

In the next installment of the popular driving franchise, we will be able to visit the impressive landscapes of Mexico. Landscapes that encompass all kinds of different biomes as you can see below.

You probably recognize this biome, since it was the one used for the presentation of Forza Horizon 5 during the last E3. Explore the incredible rock formations of this unique biome.

Volcano

Probably the highlight of these 11 biomes. And is that for the first time in the history of Forza Horizon, we will have the opportunity to take our favorite vehicle to the top of a volcano.

Agricultural land

Speed ​​on the roads of agricultural land, surrounded by lush vegetation, fruit trees and large rivers. But beware, this area is full of fences that it is better to leave in place, or not.

Tropical coast

Immerse yourself fully in the Mexican coast. Surrounded by palm trees, long sandy beaches and calm waters, or at least they will be outside the stormy season when this beautiful landscape changes a lot.

Arid hills

This biome will be characterized by being full of large areas of dry grass, perfect for times when we prefer to get away from the roads and drive off-road.

Jungle

While on the Costa Tropical we might find tall palm trees and vegetation, this biome will be very different and large rock formations will predominate.

Sand desert

Full of large dunes and sand everywhere, this will undoubtedly be the perfect place to take our buggies to the extreme in this awesome desert.

Pantano

Probably a swamp is not the first idea that comes to mind to push your vehicle to the limit. But hell, it’s Forza Horzion, so enjoy the mangroves and don’t worry about the multiple hits your car will take.
