However, Microsoft’s subscription doesn’t appear to have had a negative impact on physical sales in France. This is shown by the SELL (Leisure Software Publishers’ Union) ranking of physical games sold in France over the past week. Forza Horizon 5 comes second, behind Call of Duty Vanguard

Given the usual dominance of titles sold on Playstation and Nintendo consoles in these rankings, this is very good news and bodes well for Xbox studios. It also goes to Playground Games, which spawned a game that will appear on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S seems to be very popular.
