Officially announced in 2020, the new Forza Motorsport revved up its engines during last Sunday’s Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. In fact, we were entitled to see several minutes of in-game sequence running on PC in a quality that should be similar on Xbox Series X. However, we still had no information about her little sister, the Xbox Series S so far.
Forza Motorsport runs at 60 fps on the Xbox Series!
On the official support website Forza Motorsports, The developers wanted to confirm several elements. Ray tracing will be present on the track as announced. We were also able to confirm the resolutions and the targeted frame rate according to the consoles:
- Xbox Series X: 4k resolution and 60 frames per second
- Xbox Series S: 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second
Turn 10 therefore chooses to prioritize fluidity with a 60fps display required in a racing game. As a reminder, the title is officially slated for spring 2023 and will only be announced for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Check out the trailer, unveiled last week, below:
