Just yesterday I was telling you that a game with a secret codename was leaked in the Microsoft Store. The truth is that it is hard to know anything about what it could bebut maybe today’s news is somehow related since we have a new name to save for the future.
It’s about Kiln, whose translation would be something like “oven”. It’s a new trademark registered by Microsoft in the gaming category, so hey, white and bottled.

The registration of this new mark was made on October 21, although the application for registration was made on the 18th, this tells us that it is quite recent. As I said, it is located in the games category and has two other associated sub-brands in related categories. One is typography.
Now we can speculate at length what it might be, but w ith that name at least I can’t think of anything at all. However, if there is one detail to highlight, and that is the fact that Microsoft usually registers this type of trademark when the announcement is not very far away, so I think it will not take long to raise doubts. My bet is on the 2 projects we know of, Project Shaolin, Project Belfry or Project Dragon, one of the two is a possibility.
The Game Awards could be an opportunity to showcase this predictable new IP, although it might be too early for that. Either way, E3 2023 is shaping up to be interesting. You do not think ?
