A number of balance adjustments are arriving next week with Hotfix 3.2.1 in the Battlefield 2042 shooter.
After Battlefield 2042 made the switch to its old class system with the last major update, DICE announces a hotfix.
Hotfix 3.2.1 will be rolled out next week at an undisclosed time with gameplay adjustments. For example, the damage of the PP-2000 at 50 meters is increased from 21 to 28. The MTAR-21 will also increase its damage at 40 meters from 18 to 22 in addition to adjusting the recoil.
This hotfix will be the last scheduled update before Season 4 is released into Battlefield 2042.
Check the patch notes for all the details on the upcoming 3.2.1 hotfix.

weapons
As part of the recent 3.2 update, we reduced the ADS time for Drum and Extended Magazines. We are reverting this change in this update.
Their feedback on changing these attachments indicated slower reload times or less total ammo due to the reduced clip count. These are very important areas to look at, but we don’t think these two would compensate for the larger increase in combat time that these attachments will give you.
With a shorter magazine, you’ll have to choose your fights as you switch into and out of combat against multiple enemies, prioritizing targets based on awareness or proximity. For larger magazines such. For example, with Drum and Extended Magazines, that overhead goes away because you have the luxury of reloading less and having more ammo available.
It’s very important for us to respond to your feedback, and we’ll make more adjustments to Drum and Extended Magazines in a later update.
Drum and extended magazines
- ADS render rate has been reverted to pre-Update 3.2 levels. You will now find that the draw rate is more immediate and less weighted than before.
