Microids is excited to announce the release of Blacksad: Under the Skin today on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Originally released in 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, the game plunges charismatic detective John Blacksad into the middle of a dark case of corruption in New York’s underworld.
Nothing is known about technical improvements of the Xbox Series X|S version compared to the version for Xbox One, which has been available since 2019. A comparison of both versions in the store only shows a 4K resolution and 120fps.
This is Blacksad: Under the Skin
The 1950s, New York City: Joe Dunn, the owner of a boxing club, is found dead. Meanwhile, rising star Bobby Yale, who was supposed to step into the ring for the most important fight of his career, has mysteriously disappeared.
Sonia Dunn, Joe’s daughter, takes over the gym and has to deal with its financial problems. She hires private detective John Blacksad to investigate Yale’s disappearance.
This grim case takes our investigator into the darkest and gloomiest depths of New York.
With its anthropomorphic characters and incredible 1950s feel, Blacksad: Under the Skin promises the scary, dark adventure of a detective novel, just like the comic series of the same name.
Conduct the investigation in your own way. Use your cat senses to hunt for new clues. Make decisions on behalf of Blacksad and influence the outcome of the case.
