Today, many Playstation users cleared up any doubts about the new service which had been rumored for some time. Admittedly, expectations were very high. because many media had cataloged it as “Sony’s Game Pass”. And in the end what we have is a different service which although it is true that it has points in common with that of Microsoft, but it is far below all that it offers.
I’m not fooling anyone by saying that I consider the American company to have a better deal, beyond the fact that I’m writing this from an Xbox-friendly home, I objectively consider Phil Spencer’s team to have worked better on their subscription, and that’s something that With little data on the table, it can be backed up without much effort. However, go for it, what the Japanese did doesn’t seem like a bad option to me, it will surely improve over time and there will be users who want to try it.
Xbox Game Pass responds to Sony’s service
Obviously such an announcement could not go unnoticed by the competition. But before some context, Sony’s proposal does not offer the level, volume, quantity and quality of Game Pass gamesand of course its worst feature is not offering launch games.
It was on this last point that the official Game Pass account made a point, recalling that Microsoft’s subscription not only offers an extensive catalog with EA Play, but also very many games that are coming to the service at launch. The translation of the tweet would say something like:
We love all the options! Play new LAUNCH games. Check out Blockbusters and Indie Games. Games from Xbox Game Studios, EA Play, [email protected] much more.
we love options!
🎮 Play new games from DAY ONE
✨ Blockbusters and indies

The tweet itself is a compendium of things missing from Sony’s new service. This is a good way to take advantage of the publicity the ad has generated to assert your own service.
