In August, Tiebreak: The official game of the ATP and WTA will leave Early Access and be released for consoles.
NACON and Big Ant Studios are pleased to announce that Tiebreak: The official game of the ATP and WTA will be released on August 22, 2024 for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam). The Nintendo Switch version will be released at a later date.
Tiebreak captures all the intensity and technical nature of the sport of tennis and aims to be the best representation of tennis ever in a video game.
In its final version, which will launch on August 22, 2024, Tiebreak will feature a diverse roster of players, including lifelike representations of more than 120 ATP/WTA players, led by Novak Djokovic, Coco Gauff, Jannik Sinner, Iga Swiatek, Carlos Alcaraz and – to complete the big three – Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
Players can take to the court as or against the best players in the world, participate in over 90 tournaments on the ATP and Hologic WTA Tour calendars and play on more than 20 licensed and replica tennis courts on both tours.
Tiebreak includes numerous single and multiplayer game modes, both offline and online, and allows the creation of tennis courts, custom tournaments and competitions with 16, 32, 64 or 128 players for an exciting competition whether online or offline.
The fan-favorite Academy is also included, allowing players to share everything they’ve created with the community, including all custom competitions, tournaments, courts, players, and logos.
Tiebreak also allows players to experience the dazzling highlights of world number one Novak Djokovic in the Djokovic Slam Challenge.
In a faithful adaptation honoring a sporting legend, players can recreate the real-life victories of his 17-year career or rewrite history and have Novak win the tournaments he narrowly missed.
The game receives its fifth major update with Early Access 5, which includes new content, gameplay improvements and the long-awaited Career Mode, where players can select an existing pro to begin their journey to greatness, taking them to the major ATP and WTA tournaments (including Nitto ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000, ATP 500, ATP 250, WTA 1000 Series, WTA 500 & WTA 250) to climb to the top of the rankings.
Tiebreak will continue to see improvements and gameplay enhancements leading up to its launch on August 22, 2024, including expanding the roster to more than 120 professional players, introducing the WTA Finals, additional game modes such as the Djokovic Slam Challenge, and more content.
New features in Tiebreaks Early Access 5 include:
