Ubisoft will not delay the release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows again while incurring additional costs.
As part of its second quarter financial results announcement, Ubisoft talked about Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Accordingly, the game itself was finished in terms of content, but the additional time was decided to improve the gaming experience, as Frédérick Duguet, Chief Corporate Finance Officer, explained.
Duguet said: “As we mentioned a month ago, AC Shadows was complete and about to be released. We wanted to make sure the gaming experience was flawless from day one, that was the reason for this decision.”
“So we have a good chance that the game can be delivered with a great experience and in excellent quality by mid-February.”
Explicitly referring to a possible further postponement of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, he said that it will appear on time on February 14, 2025.
“We have a good chance that the game will appear on time and in excellent quality,” said Duguet about a possible postponement.
