A while back, I told you my own story of why Gears of War deserved equal, if not better, treatment than Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Apparently a lot of people thought the same as me and not only that but also the developers; According to journalist Nick Baker, The Coalition is developing the remastering of a major Xbox franchise.

Gears of War could return this year
Personally, I’m not asking for the remastering of absolutely all the games in the saga, but I’m asking for the main trilogy. Gears of War 1, 2 and 3, the Marcus Fenix franchise and Dominic Santiago. With that, I would be the happiest person in the world, since we are talking about one of my favorite trilogies, if not the favorite.
From what I know, another great Microsoft franchise is getting treatment like Halo: The Master Chief Collection. I’m also sure it will come out this year.
Although Microsoft has not officially announced it, an announcement of this caliber is to be expected for the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. As I told you in another news, stay tuned because Xbox still has a lot to offer us this year. What do you think of a remastering of at least the first three parts of the saga?
