What better way to welcome the next chapter of? Fourteen days as a winter festival! Runs from December 16, 2021 at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET to January 6, 2022 at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET, Sgt. Winter himself will present the players with 14 unwrapping gifts – including two outfits – during the 2021 Winter Festival.
For players who are just starting their Fortnite journey with the start of Chapter 3, this is the perfect opportunity to fill your locker with plenty of items early on. For longtime gamers, this is a great time to add to your collection!
The Winterfest Lodge welcomes you again
Crackshot was kind enough to the Winterfest Lodge to Sgt. Winter. At the Lodge, Sgt. Winter hands out a new gift every day for 14 days. The gifts include: two outfits, two pickaxes, two wraps, a glider, contrails, emote, lobby track, loading screen, emoticon, spray and banner.
We don’t want to spoil the gifts exactly, but we will introduce you to the outfits! There’s Krisabelle, a festive take on community-inspired Isabelle, and there’s Polar Peely, a cool banana (literally) that DOES NOT belong on a breakup.
As last time, the Winterfest Lodge will be accessible via the snowflake tab in the lobby. If you miss days unwrapping these gifts, don’t worry! You can simply return to the lodge and collect your gifts anytime before the end of Winterfest (January 6th at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET).
Non-domed icy objects
For the Winter Festival, Sgt. Winter has decided to open the icy armory. Let’s look at what he brought to the island:
- Knock back enemies and give them slippery block of ice feet with Chiller Grenades. (It’s also fun to apply on yourself.)
- Launch exploding snowballs with snowball launchers.
- Throw away Christmas presents! to open them up and snatch their prey.
- Use a sneaky snowman to dress up as a snowman and hide yourself.
In the Item Shop: Spider-Man and MJ from “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (plus other outfits)
There’s the classic Spider-Man from the Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass, and soon No Way Home Spider-Man and MJ are coming to the Item Shop for Winterfest. (Just in time for the film’s release!) The Spider-Man (No Way Home) and MJ (No Way Home) outfits will be available in the item shop starting December 16 at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET. Put on and off No Way Home Spider-Man’s mask with its built-in emote!
Over the course of the Winterfest, more new outfits will be added to the shop, including those inspired by concepts from the June Contest Royale winners, June winners Concept royale. Recurring winter outfits will also make an appearance!
Sgt. During this winter festival, winter doesn’t just stay locked in the lodge. Expect the sergeant to patrol the island along with his two Red Nosed Ranger chauffeurs. He’ll throw away Christmas presents along the way … unless you do something that puts you on your bad side. In this case, he and the Rangers will switch from festive to combat mode very quickly.
