mushroom wars 2 is a highly competitive real-time strategy game in which you control pretty little mushroom units. Each fight is short, usually only around five minutes, but it’s a very intense collision between you and another player. It requires full immersion!
You can prepare for it by playing the story-driven campaign solo, but none of the computer opponents can match the smart wits of a real human counterpart.
mushroom wars 2, a proven eSports game is now available on modern consoles. We asked our community manager for some tips on basic aspects of the game that might be helpful for those new to Mushroom Generals.
attack and defense
At first glance, the game seems to be all about math and numbers: IDE with more units should win the battle. But it is not that easy.
There are defense and attack multipliers that play a big part in the game. By gaining an advantage over your opponent, you can “trade” fewer units in micro-battles.
Ways to increase protection and attack indices:
– Level up the building for higher defense
– Achieve higher morale
– Use of hero abilities like Rudo’s Defense Walls or Ayner’s Rage
– Construction of forges
amount of troops
Since the number of units is hidden in enemy buildings, it’s difficult to predict if you’ll succeed in an attack, but not impossible. Fortunately, there is a bar at the top of the game screen that shows the sum of troops each player has. It won’t tell you the exact count in each building, but it could give you an average by dividing by the number of buildings they own.
moral
Morale might be the most important aspect of the game that prevents the snowball effect. Morale is displayed just below the troop strength bar at the top of the battle screen. Morale levels are visualized with stars.
As said before, the more Morale you have, the higher Attack and Defense indices you get. In addition, the speed of your units will also increase, which will affect your army’s damage per second coefficient.
What to remember: Never attack an opponent who is two morale ahead. It is very likely that your attack will not be successful, you will only “feed” your enemy and in most cases get a free profit.
To increase morale you must:
– Capture buildings
– Repel enemy attacks
– Improve buildings
– Use the active skills of some heroes
You lose morale when the following happens:
– Your units die on the battlefield
– You lose a building
– inactivity
snakes
There is a way to send units in a very tight line much more efficiently, and it’s not a scam! It was a mistake in the original mushroom wars but became a feature in the sequel.
We call that snakes. Snakes can make your attacks more powerful and unpredictable.
To perform snakes you must:
- Select a building to send units from and make sure there are fewer than 35 units in it.
- Select a building to send units to by holding the right bumper button.
- At the desired building, press the B button as quickly as possible.
We hope these tips will help you show your true skill in 1v1 or 2v2 battles. Good luck, newborn Mushroom General!
