One of the titles that garnered the most attention last year when it launched was Ghostrunner, the action platform title from 505 Games. Unsurprisingly, it has managed to dazzle the press and fans with its frantic gameplay. And, if you thought that with the basic title it was all over, you couldn’t be more wrong.
Especially since the studio has unveiled its roadmap for the coming months, where in addition to the new game modes, the Next Gen version is included.
Ghostrunner unveils its roadmap for 2021
Indeed, in the fall of this year, we will be able to enjoy Ghostrunner on Xbox Series X | S. A version that will make the most of the benefits of the Microsoft console. And, while the improvements that this new edition will contain have not been specified, we can expect faster load times, resolution improvements, and maybe even a higher frame rate. Additionally, this version can be obtained from highway if we already have the game on Xbox One.
But beyond that, we will receive this spring, at a date to be determined, a new game mode, Kill Run, where we will have a time limit to complete each level. In our turn, in the summer of 2021 we will also be able to enjoy another game mode and a new cosmetic DLC.
Ghostrunner is out now on Xbox One and PC and can be played on Xbox Series X | S via backward compatibility.
