THQ Nordic presented a gameplay demo at Gamescom 2024 in Goldman’s Eternal Lifea 2D platform game with spectacular artistic design. Studio Weappytells a vibrant but dark story that mixes legends, fairy tales and myths, which went unnoticed at the conference.
The studio has released a demo to see what can be found in The Eternal Life of Goldman, with a few minutes of gameplay and level design:
Step into the shoes of Goldman, an unusual protagonist wandering a land of twisted fairy tales and corrupted folklore. This title offers a fascinating combination of challenging platforming and exploration sequences, involving a multitude of skills, all wrapped up in stunning and meticulously drawn 2D art.
The game demands precision, but never becomes a grueling exercise in memorizing and methodically executing an exact sequence of actions. Here, no two rooms or two landscapes are the same. Every location, every object, every character, every visual effect… everything is carefully planned and executed down to the smallest detail.
Goldman’s Eternal Life It will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. No date has been given yet, but we will be very attentive to future announcements from the study.
