Electronic Arts today announced that EA SPORTS PGA TOUR will be available on March 24, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via the EA App, Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Pre-orders for EA SPORTS PGA TOUR, the exclusive home of all four majors – the Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, US Open Championship and The Open – are open now.
EA SPORTS PGA TOUR also includes the “Road to the Masters,” which combines tradition with excitement and includes the Augusta National, challenges, tournaments, and Masters-related gear.
The Masters made its EA SPORTS virtual debut in 2011, and its video game return has been consistently requested by golf fans. In addition, EA SPORTS is providing additional details on live service content coming throughout the PGA TOUR 2023 season and LPGA Tour seasons.

Pure Strike gives players all the tools they need to realistically play every hole on every course, just like the pros do.
Using CDW’s ShotLink and TrackMan, Pure Strike also ensures that the swing motion and attributes of each professional golfer are accurately represented in-game.
Pure Blow encompasses the three components of every shot: fluid swing mechanics from the backswing to the follow-through, innovative ball behavior that makes every movement of the ball feel more realistic than ever on different surfaces and court conditions, and lifelike course dynamics that live up to their real-life counterparts .
In addition to being the exclusive home of all four men’s majors, the EA SPORTS PGA TOUR offers diverse experiences and content that players have come to expect from a golf title:
World Famous Courses: Players can tee off at more than 30 courses and at landmark places like Augusta National Golf Club, Pebble Beach Golf Links, Southern Hills Country Club, Old Course at St Andrews Links, Country Club, Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resorts, Torrey Pines, Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France, East Lake Golf Club, TPC Southwind, Los Angeles Country Club, Wilmington Country Club and more.
EA SPORTS PGA TOUR will also include the final 2021 and 2022 Major courses, as well as the new 2023 Major courses to be released at a later date.
Career and style of play: EA SPORTS PGA TOUR offers players an RPG-style progression system in Road to the Masters. As their game improves, they get closer to dreaming of becoming a Major champion themselves.
Players can create and edit a golfer, hone their skills and master each course to play every hole like a pro. With 20 shot types available throughout the game, tee, approach, short game and putt are tweakable based on your playing style. Players can become a Major Champion and play the best events on the PGA TOUR throughout the season to earn the FedEx Cup.
They can also dominate premier amateur championships such as the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, the US Amateur and other international amateur events.
THE PLAYERS Championship and FedExCup Playoffs: THE PLAYERS Championship and all three FedExCup Playoff events are part of the game and players can earn FedExCup Points in Career Mode to qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs. As part of Career Mode, the best at the end of the year have a chance to win the FedExCup.
Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and Amundi Evian Championship: In partnership with the LPGA, EA SPORTS PGA TOUR allows fans to compete in the Amundi Evian Championship, one of the five major championships on the LPGA Tour, and the ability to create female golfers with the overhauled player creation.
Players can participate in themed LPGA challenges and other events. Iona Stephen joins EA’s commentary team as the first female course expert, bringing her experience as a pro golfer and expert to the game.

TrackMan data: TrackMan, the world’s leading 3D trajectory and swing analysis system, provides critical data for authentic gameplay as it evaluates countless metrics such as club optimization, trajectories, landing positions and more.
EA SPORTS PGA TOUR pre-orders are available now. This also applies to the Deluxe Edition, 3-day early access to the game and the Augusta National, THE PLAYERS Championship gear, the Grand Slam gear pack, Scotty Cameron’s in-game putter, 1,500 Premium PGA TOUR points, includes a PGA TOUR XP package and Masters gear.
EA Play members also get early access to the game, starting March 21 with a 10-hour trial.
