Nacon and Daedalic Entertainment have announced that LOTR: Gollum will be coming to consoles and PC on September 1, 2022.
We can now place another of the games awaiting release on the schedule. This very afternoon, the French publisher Nacon and his recently acquired studio Daedalic Entertainmentannounced that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will arrive on September 1 on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox OnePS4, PS5 and PC.
After a delay of more than a year, we can finally enjoy this new and authentic story that we couldn’t see The Fellowship of the Ring. Where our protagonist, Gollum, after losing the One Ring, he leaves the Misty Mountains in search of his precious treasure. We will visit recognizable places such as the fortress of Barad-dûr or the kingdom of the wood elves of Mirkwood.
LOTR: Gollum will base its playable mechanics on stealth, in addition to placing great importance on the decision-making that we will have to face. Due to the split personality that possession of the ring caused him, we may also meet Smeagol, the friendly and social face of this tormented Hobbit.
