The Grandia HD Collection, which is now available for Xbox, combines two role-playing games.

Today, GungHo Online Entertainment America releases Grandia HD Collection, the remaster of the classic role-playing game series, for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Whether players are returning to these iconic games or playing them for the first time, the series’ dynamic attack timing system, rewarding magic and skill progression, and vibrant world deliver dozens of hours of heroic adventure.

The Grandia HD Collection can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store for 39.99 dollars. The physical editions can be pre-ordered until April 14, 2024 in collaboration with Limited Run Games for $54.99.

The Grandia HD Collection brings two genre-defining RPGs, Grandia and Grandia II, to a modern audience:

  • Grandia is about a boy named Justin who dreams of becoming a great adventurer and who uncovers a great secret in the ancient cathedral ruins. Justin meets other adventurers who accompany him on his journey, and together they discover what lies beyond the end of the world.
  • Grandia II takes place eons after the battle of good and evil between the gods Granas and Valmar. The young mercenary Ryudo is tasked with protecting the acolyte Elena, a mission that evolves into a journey to protect the world from infinite darkness.

The Remastered Collection improves on the original games with improved UI, sprite and texture details, visual improvements to cinematic videos, widescreen support, Japanese and English audio options and language support for English, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (simplified and traditional).
