In a new analysis you can look at the graphics and the frame rate in comparison between last-gen and next-gen.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human was previously subjected to a graphics comparison between Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Now the game has been analyzed again by Digital Foundry. The game on the last-gen consoles is compared to the PlayStation 5 versions.
You can find out what compromises the last-gen version of Dying Light 2 Stay Human had to make in the following video:
Digital Foundry announces that the PS4 Slim will flicker across the screen at 1536 x 864 resolution and “Low” PC settings, while the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X will come in at 1920 x 1080 with “Medium” PC settings. The Xbox One and PS4 run at a fixed 864p, while the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro offer a whopping 1080p.
The last gen consoles keep the 30FPS constant, although screen tearing can occur. Only the PS4 Pro occasionally has a few minimal frame rate fluctuations. The best last-gen choice is the Xbox One X at 1080p and a steady 30FPS.
