Check out the graphics comparison of Hogwarts Legacy between Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC platforms.
A graphic comparison of Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5 and PC now provides information on the performance of the role-playing game on the different platforms.
From ElAnalistaDeBits analysis, it appears that Hogwarts Legacy has five different display modes. The Quality mode, for example, shows settings similar to High/Ultra on the PC with 1800p and 30fps without ray tracing.
In Ray Tracing mode, the effects on shadows and reflections (excluding the water) as well as shadows and ambient occlusion are presented in a “hybrid way with conventional lighting”. Ray tracing is said to generate noise on consoles and PC on some surfaces.
Those who opt for ray tracing have to accept compromises in character spacing and texture quality on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. On Xbox Series S there are no options for ray tracing.
While ray tracing performance is better on the PS5, the Xbox Series X scores with a better frame rate in all other modes.
The analysis also shows that the PS5 has shorter loading times. There, too, the shadow in quality mode is higher than on the Xbox Series X.
Stuttering in all versions was noted within the castle and when moving through rooms. You could even get stuck in the door during a transition.
