sinister dawn from Crate artistst reached a new milestone in terms of sales. ANDThe ARPG has added an excellent seven million copies sold since its launch in February 2016.
It was released after a Kickstarter campaign in 2012 and entered Steam Early Access in 2013. sinister dawn takes place in the world of Cairn, which has suffered massive devastation as a result of the conflict between the Aetherials and the Chthonians. As a once-possessed survivor, we’ll embark on a journey to defeat these almost Lovecraftian cosmic horrors. We will have several differentiated classes (called Masters), as is customary in this type of genre.
Crate Entertainment released two major expansions for the game: Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods.. Each of them offers new regions, missions and masteries, as well as their own stories. There’s also the Crucible DLC which adds a survival mode based on taking down waves of enemies. sinister dawn is currently available for PC and its Definitive Edition was released very recently for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
