A Grand Theft Auto Online player noticed a reference to Red Dead Redemption in the game. An Easter egg that comes in the form of a tattoo that players can equip in GTA Online. Although not explicitly stated as a reference, the resemblance is so exact that it is difficult to interpret otherwise.
This is also not the first time that Rockstar has added a reference to Red Dead Redemption in GTA Online. In 2020, a connection was found between RDR 2 and Cayo Perico from GTA Online. It’s probably nothing more than a little wink to discover for fans of Red Dead Redemption.

User Shaneypoo_UwU shared the Reddit the comparison between his tattoo in GTA Online and John Marston’s knife. The tattoo is an exact matchEven the stripes of the knife are depicted in the tattoo. It’s possible that the tattoo itself was taken directly from the knife model in Red Dead Redemption.
The tattoo is fine, but it’s easy to go unnoticed because of the clothes. Maybe that’s why no one has noticed the similarity until now. Still, that’s all an Easter egg should be: small, low-key, and something that will put a smile on those who are observant enough.
