First details revealed about the new version of GTA V for next-gen consoles, which will arrive next week. Physical release expected in April
Just a month ago, Rockstar announced the release date for the new version of Grand Theft Auto V for next-gen consoles. Rockstar herself shared New information and screenshots from GTA V and GTA Online for Xbox Series X|S and PS5, which will hit the digital market on March 15, 2022. We will also have a version in physical format which will arrive next April with no confirmed date.
These new versions of GTA V and GTA Online will introduce detailed graphics to our new consoles, with a 4K resolution, a refresh rate of 60 frames per second, texture improvements, HDR and Laser trace. Plus, you’ll get new 3D audio technology, improved loading times, and new specs for every platform.
We can choose between three graphic modes
the fashion quality aim for native 4K resolution on Xbox Series X (enhanced on Series S), 30 fps and Ray Teracing. the performance mode will increase the refresh rate to 60 fps, dropping the resolution down to scaled 4K in Series X and 1080p in Series S. Finally, we’ll have a RT performance mode which mixes the two previous modes with a slightly better resolution, with Ray Tracing and a refresh rate close to 60 fps.
The new version GTA V and GTA Online will also have new gameplay improvements, more NPC density, traffic, and vegetation, as well as an improved lighting and shadow system.
