Despite a spectacular campaign and exquisite gunplay, Halo Infinite continues to cause problems for 343 Industries. The game does not leave one to enter the other. And be careful, nothing harms the quality of the game, but if there is anything left in Infinite, these are some of the controversies with the lack of content, the delay in the release of seasons or the cheats in multiplayer.
Today we have to add one more, which affects PC gamers, whether they’re playing from Steam or Xbox Live. The game crashes and users are not too happy.
The latest Halo Infinite update appears to be the culprit
The problem comes after the last update in February, which was called to improve the main problems and shortcomings of the game. For example, attempts were made to solve the problem of mods and cheats; some weapons have also been revised, the sound improved and much more.
However, as I said, some users are suffering from an error that crashes the game and makes it unplayable. At this time, the study has not commented, but some Halo Waypoint users have found this “temporary solution” to the problem:
I would also advise all PC gamers to set the simulation quality to Ultra in the settings. This setting drives some of our game systems but, more importantly for this discussion, it controls how much time we give our system to fix determinism errors on the client. Setting it to Ultra should result in better determinism between client and server. The CPU cost is also quite low, so it should be manageable on most PCs.
Problems are also reported in custom games on PC, which throws an error during saving and configuration. This doesn’t appear to be a large-scale catastrophic error at this time, but keep it in mind if this happens to you.
