In November, the winter update brought with it a host of new maps, modes, and features Halo infinity. One of the most exciting additions was the Forge Beta, a powerful, fan-favorite toolset that Spartans have been using to unleash their creativity since its inception halo 3. We’re happy to announce that as of January 2nd, more than 1 million creations have been forged!
In December, following the release of the Forge Beta, we added the Custom Game Browser, which allows players to host and connect to custom matches, including Forge creations. As of January 2nd, more than 8.5 million custom games have been played since the launch of the Custom Game Browser.
Earlier this month we featured four amazing Forge creations from the community in Community Collection playlistwhich was the most popular Halo infinity Playlist since game launch. This playlist will be updated with even more community content in the future, so stay tuned!

- Absolution, a map we previously featured in our third Forge Features installment, has some familiar aspects to a few different maps – from Halo 2’s Sanctuary to Halo 3’s Guardian, with that weathered, rock-based Forerunner aesthetic that replicates the look of Delta Halo has defined .

- While not a direct remake of Halo 2’s legendary lockout, many areas of this map carry elements of this beloved classic, adding an air of familiarity to this new space.

- Damnation from Halo: Combat Evolved sees a fresh coat of Banished and a beautifully revamped industrial aesthetic in a massive cavern.

- All soldiers have been summoned to battle stations in this stunning UNSC-inspired spiritual remake of Halo 2’s Midship.
