During season 1 of Halo infinite has been available since November 15th with the game officially released on Wednesday December 8th. However, licensees have raised many criticisms about the lack of certain game modes and the need to play objective modes. While the 343 Industries teams have stated that they are working on the issue, a post from Brian Jarrard, the studio’s community manager, gives very good news on the matter.
New content from Tuesday, December 14th!
We learned that a new update of Halo infinite takes place on December 14th. This contains four new playlists:
- Slayer (Assassin mode)
- Fiesta
- FFA (Each for Himself Assassin)
- Clap
Something that will delight many players who wanted the return of a gaming system with more control over what they do.
A breakthrough in the challenge system
The challenges are also a big black point of the multi of Halo infinite currently. And this grumble is very well understood and even shared by some executives at the studio. And good news, the teams have been working hard on the subject. Some challenges that require a specific game mode have been completely removed
Did you want to be rewarded with your performance in the game? You will be happy because 343 Industries has taken a step in this direction: A new challenge category is based on the accumulation of points during the various games played. This will be more detailed on Halo Waypoint next week. The studio is aware of the current BTB connection problems and is working on a solution to this problem.
As a reminder, the multiplayer of Halo infinite is free for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC available.
