The update for Hellblade: Sanua’s victim brings graphics and performance improvements for new Microsoft consoles. But beyond the visual upgrade and convenience, the UK studio added a new option that has been long awaited. Indeed, it is now possible choose a chapter from the main menu.
As mentioned in the tweet posted on the official developer account below, there are two scenarios. Once in-game, chapter selection won’t unlock until your full adventure is complete. And when you start a new game, the different sections will gradually be unlocked depending on your progress.
This only applies to the Xbox Series X | S update released yesterday.

Even for those who missed runes on their journey but aren’t sure what level they are at, Ninja Theory has a solution for you. So, The choice of chapters shows the number of runes found in each of them. So you can easily see which ones you still need to activate. As a reminder, if you find them all, a 100G achievement will unlock.
