The Game Awards 2023 was one of the shows with the biggest announcements we can remember. Titles like Marvel’s Bucket, OD, Monster Hunter Wilds or new Sega projects were seen for the first time, while we also got new looks at titles like Hellblade II, Skull and Bones or Space Marine 2.
This is also the setting chosen by Sean Murray to present the new project from Hello Games, creators of No Man’s Sky, Ligh No Fire, a game that reproduces the idea of its first title but now with a medieval setting.
Ligh No Fire has been in development for five years already
Following TGA’s announcement, the developer shared some additional information about the title. A game which, as confirmed, It has been in development for over five years. Something that is noticeable when seeing the advanced state in which it showed itself in its first preview, both in the game scenes and in the engine.
In Light No Fire, Hello Games wants to offer us an immense fantasy world, the size of the Earth, where We have countless activities to do alone or in cooperation with those on the network. Of course, they want to replicate the No Man’s Sky formula and overcome the limitations of its procedural engine, thus pushing its experience even further.

Light No Fire does not have a confirmed release date, but we do know that it will arrive on PC and consoles which, although not confirmed, will be Xbox Series X|S and PS5.
