By official press release, Plaion shared new details about the zombie-slaying protagonists of Dead Island 2. The game is finally in its final stage of development and will be available next April if all goes according to plan. With this new material we can learn a little more about the zombie killers that will accompany us in the game, as well as the principles by which they move.
Dead Island 2 seems to have all the ingredients to become one of the most powerful releases of this beginning of the year. It has zombies, which is already a plus, but also, it seems to have a huge city to explore, have fun and kill, which the protagonists of the game will do, kill lots of zombies. The protagonists of Dead Island 2
- JACOB: Jacob is an anti-hero with the humor of a rock star. Her charm is combined with a reckless disregard for her physical integrity. When his beloved mother passed away, he quit his job as a stockbroker in London to pursue his dream of becoming a stuntman in Hollywood. Now his amusing jokes and Shakespearean quotes are falling on undead ears as he enjoys himself as a zombie slayer in Los Diablos. Wonderful!
- FRIEND: Amy is a very sharp Paralympian who has discovered something that gives her even more pleasure than running: killing zombies! Risk irritates her, success stimulates her and each fight is an enigma that she must quickly solve, like an obstacle course to keep her mind in shape. She’s calm, determined, and composed, and not much can alter her Californian spirit.
- RIAN: This exotic dancer doesn’t just have breathtaking pecs. Ryan is stubborn like everyone else, his pessimism is as barren as the Sahara, and he has an indomitable heart. He’s determined to find his little brother, stranded in Fresno since before the outbreak, and nothing, dead or alive, will stop him from coming home.
As we said, if all goes according to plan, Dead Island 2 will be available on Xbox and other platforms on April 28th.
